Argentina ranked # 1 in the world and the USA is ranked #2. Argentina should win this by 2 goals or more.

Kenny Cooper and Drew Moor from FCD were late additions to the USA roster.

you left off a digit in the USA ranking

USA cannot score with junk like EJ and Wolff up top. Interested to see how Cooper as he adds a totally different dimension for the team (huge striker). Would like to see the US at least draw but Argie win is most probable result. USA have lost 9/10 games they have played against #1's in their history

On Wed, USA lost 0-1 to Spain and arrived in New Jersey on Th, where Giants Stadium has had grass sod installed.

Likewise, Argentina played Wed. night and defeated Mexico 4-1. But USA will look to grind it out v. Argentina...they won't play like Mexico did.

Donovan looks like he will play...not sure if he's in the starting lineup however.

Cooper has been in good form for FC Dallas and he's provides USA w/ legit target man. Dempsey on tired legs. Johnson not ready for prime time. Not sure if Donovan's groin strain is 100%.

Incidentally, whatever happened w/ Jurgen Klinsmann?

I know after the WC Cup in '06 that he was mentioned as a poss. candidate for the USA position which, of course, went to Bob Bradley.

He has a great job now w/ Bayern, so things have turned out well for him/

thats venezuela joey, against the b squad brazil +robinho, usa is garbage and always will be, only threat what so ever is donovan, and he will have to have a individual act of brilliance that can change the score. otherwise, argentina is good for 2 or 3

Im on messi and the boys ML, over should hit as well

Landon Donovan is so overrated it's not even funny anymore. Add his recent injury woes and he should not be a factor in this game.

Looks like USA will not have Freddy Adu starting, despite the fact that he looked ok against Spain.

I'm with most of you guys here... Argentina -150 as a medium sized play.
